Sissiborgaon College

Sissiborgaon college was established in the year 1992 which was socio-cconomically and educationally very backward and also devastating flood effected the common and rural people yearly. A majority of people whose main occupation is cultivation, in a view to impart higher education to the students ofthose poor and downtrodden flood effected families of this locality. Besides teaching and leaning, the college has given due attention to extension activities commit- tee for extend activities which carried out community development and awareness programme with a view to make the college a community education centre in near future. Contrast effort are being made to develop games, sports, social, cultural environment and current socio-economic problems to enable themselves to stand as a responsive citizen in contemporary rapid techno- logical changing society. Therefore the College has also emphasized to value based education inculcating social, moral and ethical values among the students with a view to mould them responsible individuals and good citizen. Sissi borgaon collegeis an institution having Arts faculty with Major course in eight subjects which in afiliated to Dibrugarh University and try to introduce computer education and other co- education system
